Welcome to The Trebelles!

Welcome to The Trebelles. We are sisters in song, and our choir came about because of Choir Director Lauren's vision to create the same welcoming atmosphere she experienced in NL, right here in the mainland, in her community. Most importantly Lauren believes that everyone deserves a place to be themselves, and let their heart song out - which is why we are a non-audition choir. Everyone is welcome here.

We humbly began in Lauren's basement and were preparing for our first fundraising concert when the pandemic hit. We attempted some online rehearsals, but it wasn't the same. That rich community that our choir was growing had been hit hard by this global health crisis.

Fast forward to now - we've taken a LOT of time off, but these incredible women are still itching to get together and sing. In that time, Lauren has opened a physical space for her teaching (performing arts and music), and we have "partnered" with Shepherd Private Coaching. It is extremely important that as we bring together communities of women to share life, laughter, and song, that we do so in a space that creates that same community with our youth. 

This year Shepherd Private Coaching is launching its brand new LeadHERship programming for female, and female identifying youth empowerment. It makes sense then that The Trebelles begin their "renaissance" if you will, and share the ongoing camaraderie and community that women in song has the power to create.

As such, we'll be rehearsing on Mondays from 7-9pm (our usual slot!), at Shepherd Private Coaching here in Burlington, on Mainway. We'll be taking space in a vibrant and up-and-coming performing arts studio, and sharing our song with some awesome students to boot! 

Registration will be completed online through Shepherd Private Coaching's portal. Members will be able to see what's happening at the studio, as well as receive automated reminders for Choir Rehearsals. Registration is subject to a $45.00 deposit to secure your place in choir. This deposit will cover your first 3 months of choir fees (making them $15.00/month). Fees are only paid during the months that choir is in session (September - December & January - June). 2024 will begin mid-year for choir/studio billing purposes. Members will be invoiced for the upcoming month, with payment due on the 1st of the month. Payments are made through Shepherd Private Coaching's platform.

If you're ready to register for The Trebelles and start singing with us in January 2024 please use the registration form below. You'll need to fill in all relevant fields - particularly the first 2, selecting Trebelle's Womens Choir options.  Please remember to select "Adult Student". This form will help you set up your portal account with Shepherd Private Coaching to make sure you stay in the know!
